Rock Star Lifestyle in the Land of Cherry Blossoms and Horse Shit

I am in a dream... I hope that I can wake up in the middle of it...

Unfortunately I can't, coz' lo and behold, my dream is just as much as reality itself.

Everything has been pretty weird since second semester has started. Polsci class has always been a blast, kudos to sir Malaya Ronas for being such a great inspiration. Promise first time kong mag-multicolor sa notes ko haha! Career na 'to!^^ And Journalism class is starting to get interesting - we will be having a report on Broadsheet Journalism next next week, and being in the school paper biz since grade 4, this would be a sinch.

Chemistry class has also taken such a wonderful turn of events - basically I'm actually looking forward to all of our classes which, I might add, is truly something to be proud of hehe. For once I'm actually learning from my Chemistry classes na, unfortunately all the knowledge always seem to only come out outside of class. Oh well, in due time. Hehe.

Can't say much about Socsci class though. Basically it seems that I'll be living a life of hell down there, what with all those readings and crap which, I might add, would probably be comprehensible only to philosophy majors hehe. Damn Plato and Aristotle!

Geography turned out to be rather interesting as well. What with all those geographical terminologies, tools and apparatuses... Grabe ang saya! I feel like being one of those geographers on the Pinta, Anna, and Santa Maria - then later finding out that the ship had just sunk hahahaha! Wag naman sana!^^

Taking up my classes this semester have somewhat made my life a bit lonely. Good thing I have my barkada to cheer me up during PE class and during free time. Last Thursday we really had it going that we had a very long bonding session after PE class. That was actually the first time I got to be "intimate" (in a god sense, damn you) with any of my barkada - never been too keen on opening up to anyone, though I know I have a lot of things to say. I'd rather be a listener that a speaker, but this has changed everything. Thanks guys! Luv ya!^^

Social life has also taken a great improvement. By this time lots of people already know me even without me knowing who the damn are they! Leche! Okay, so maybe going to gigs and having to be a regular on the mailing lists have probably been a factor, but still...

Last November 12, we had the Album Launch for Dicta License's first album called "Paghilom". Of course we just had to be there in support for the band - if we weren't, Boogie and the guys would be chopping off our heads hehe. Went there with Carol, Dugay, and Christian, our band's bassist. Boogie told us that the gig's gonna be sometime around 9pm, so we headed down 6Underground early to get good seats. We arrived there around 8:45 I think, and apparently wala pa masyadong tao inside so we decided to hang outside. Immediately we were making kulit na with the Dicta boys haha! Boogie was so ingay leche!^^

The gig started sometime around 10pm. Well, so much for being early, noh? Hehe. Joining us were other listers Danda, Rach, Joyce, Aya, Berns, and Kristan. Later we also got to meet Liee and Joy, who we wouldn't have actually met if it weren't for Liee's outfit (a blue Happy Tree Friends shirt, of all things hehe). Anyway we had so much fun during the gig. Up Dharma Down made a hot spankin' set that night, as well as Happymeals and Twisted Halo. The very best part was Dicta's set, which made the crowd go gaga with the wonderful sounds.

Hosting the album launch was ate Andy and Boogie. Leche they were so ingay haha thanks to Boogie for being so shenglots already haha. And we had so much fun making kwela and shit especially during the trivia questions - most of the prizes went to our table haha! Andy and Boogie kept mentioning my name onstage ponyeta. Imagine having your username said publicly for 239851894256819245978123851 times hahahahaha! That kinda made my day. Hehe. Thanks to both of you!^^

After that album launch the yahoougroups was like mayhem! Everyone was rooting for mine and Liee's "business" hahahaha. Here's the thing: on the next gigs we get ourselves rich by having people pay to get a picture with kuya Boogie haha! And not only that, we also sell Boogie pins, Boogie shirts, Boogie underwear (whut?!), and of course, Boogie's special blend hair conditioner! Haha! We're gonna be rich big time haha!^^ If you want to know more about it, just check the Dicta License Yahoogroups. But I must warn you, mawiwindang kayo. Haha!^^

Yesterday was Kjwan and Dicta's gig at Intramuros for an RT bash. We missed Kjwan's set, sadly (got lost in one of the WOW Phils clamshells leche), but had a spankin' great time during Dicta's set. Kuya Boogie got to read all the posts about our "business", and was spending lotsa time yesterday picking on me ehehehehe. Bryan was so bait yesterday! He made kwela with us most of the time, after getting himself lost as well in one of the clamshells ehehehe. Thanks lots kuya Bry for everything especially the ride home! You da man!^^

And so I still find myself in a dream. I just hope I can wake up in the middle of it. Damn, I'm having lots of fun living the Rock and Roll lifestyle. Maybe I'll stick to dreaming after all.
